Chris Young’s Mets debut was cut short on opening day with a quad strain. He played leftfield for the top of the first and was then removed.
After a productive stint in Vegas, he will be in the outfield tonight beginning a 3 games series against the Braves at Citifield.
Young was signed in the offseason, in hopes to rejuvenate his career and return to the right-handed power bat he was just 4 years ago.
With Juan Lagares on the DL, Young should be patrolling centerfield for almost 2 weeks.
